Detailed reviews are provided on capital works projects so as to ascertain the project’s health and likely outcome in terms of cost, time and functionality (i.e. does it meet the Owner’s purpose?). The reviews are focused on commercial, contractual and engineering outcomes and a key deliverable is a comprehensive action plan that addresses all identified shortcomings and emerging risks.
SARC’s reviews are strictly independent are usually performed under the sponsorship of the client’s Board of Directors or the senior executive.

Commercial risk modelling is conducted to:
a) establish a value associated with a conceptual project (investment)
b) establish sensible & realistic contingency levels for both Owner and contractors
c) forecast completion costs for distressed projects
SARC develops these models using the ‘monte carlo’ methodology; and with significant input from the relevant people within the client / project team (i.e. in terms of identifying and valuing cost & time impacts of discrete risks).
Risk management plans to manage the actual emergent risks during project delivery are have also been implemented.
